In this month’s edition of the Metropolitan Corporate Counsel, the editor interviews David Pratt, a partner in the Personal Planning department in Proskauer Rose LLP’s Boca Raton office. Here are some highlights from the interview:
- Pratt received an LL.M in Tax from NYU. He believes that tax is an integral part of any Florida practice for many reasons.
- Because the firm’s client centered approach, Proskauer has not seen a huge drop in business despite the economic downturn’s effect on the firm’s clients. They have been able to offer tax planning strategies that focus on planning for his clients’ futures.
- Pratt does not foresee Florida’s population decreasing much in the next few years.
